Google thinks the purchase of Waze

Google is going to buy the app Israeli navigation Waze for a sum of 1.3 billion dollars. Anticipates the Israeli business daily Globes. But the news has not as yet another confirmation.

According to Globes, Waze is now used worldwide by at least 50 million users.

The advances on the possible sale of Waze are not new. Last year, remember Globes, Facebook also seemed on the verge of a deal, but ultimately the project had not materialized.

One of the stumbling blocks, says the newspaper, was represented by the need expressed by the Israeli staff to continue to work in Israel. This obstacle may have been bypassed now by Google, which maintains major offices in Tel Aviv.
